Welcome to my little blog! I shall be using this blog to review, promote, show off some interviews and help musicians get themselves out there.

I will mostly be focused on the rock, punk and metal scene, however may indulge into other forms of music as I go along.

I am based in Scotland, UK but I would love to promote and review music from all around the world, so if you have some local music in your area that you would like me to promote/review then please email me at musicmisfit.application@gmail.com 

Along with this I shall be attending as many local gigs as I can (once the world calms down) and will share my photos, experience and their social links so you can all enjoy them as much as I am sure I will. Again I will hopefully get to review gigs all over the world and share my experiences.

I have worked in the music industry for the past 8-9 years with a mixture of jobs ranging from photography to arranging gigs for the bands I have worked with and this is why my thought of starting this blog began, I have seen the struggles it takes for lesser known bands and musicians to get their names out there and how much of a financial issue it can be for advertisement for them to so I am happy to announce that all the reviews, promotions, etc that I will do on this blog WILL BE FREE, I do have a donation page (as can be seen linked below and on my profile), this money will all be used for me to get out there and see these bands for myself and help do more promotion and provide more support for these talented men and women.

25th Mission

  Today we would like to introduce you all to a band known as 25th Mission. Rocking hard out of Long Island, NY, this traditional metal band released their new album "Disciples Of Metal" in July 2020 and are currently working on new music which is estimated for release in the 1st quarter of 2022. We had a listen of the bands new album "Disciples Of Metal" and the EP "Necessary Evil" (that the band released in 2019) and we have to say this is one band you all are going to highly enjoy, it has something for everyone from great lyrics, raw but clear vocals, heavy bass, amazing guitar solos and of course some energy fueled drumming.  The songs are all very traditional metal styles and highly energetic that will grab your attention, the band also have a very Maiden and Priest mixed with a Sabbath feel to their music which if you love these heavy rock/metal bands then we could not recommend any other band better suited than 25th Mission. Breksir

Today I would like to introduce you all to a band called "Breksir". Hailing from Queretaro, Mexico, this four piece band bring a mixture of heavy metal, grunge and death metal which creates the best kind of music for all you headbanger lovers. This band started out in late 2016 under the name "Vegvisir", however due to some let downs with at the time members, the band where forced to rethink and find new members for the band who would flourish and help push the band towards the direction they where meant to be going. Then finally in August 2019 the band found the members they needed for the band and then changed the band name to "Breksir" with the line up of Joseph (vocals and rhythm guitar), Bruno (lead guitar), Humberto (bass) and Jorge (drums).
